' Feltham tram car still in MET livery of blue and white. If the date of the photograph is correct then it is working service 29 to Enfield as tram service 21 North Finchley - Finsbury Park had just been converted to trolleybus route 521 /621 on the 6th March 1938. The 29 itself would only last a few more weeks as it too was converted to trolleybus route 629 on 8th May 1938. As the Feltham cars were relatively new, built 1931, after the conversion to trolleybus operation they transfered south of the river to run until the end of trams in London before migrating to Leeds.
