This a set of steps built with granite blocks that carried a stream down into a culvert that was 6 feet in diameter.It remerged at the other end of the estate on the allotment site.A very long dark paddle that we did as small boys before "health and safety" took over.The drop still exists in Elmbridge road,but has been modified recently.
