Great Western railway line to Bourton on the Water and Kingham. At Andoversford, several miles east, the Midland and SW Junction railway turned southwards for Swindon and Andover, among other places. In BR days they all became part of the Western Region. They were closed prior to the 'Beeching Report'. '
