The "New Dock " Railway swing bridge crossing point, over the canal, part of the branch line from Tuffley. ( Eastgate ) To the right the railway ran through a deep cutting curving round to eventually meet the dockside sidings . To the left it went under Bristol road,served a siding at the chemical works on the other side, and also a siding to the gasworks, before going on to the Tuffley junction with the mainline into Gloucester. '
