This is a unique photo for speedway fans. After speedway was introduced in February 1928 at High Beech, Epping Forest, Greenford was opened for a short time as a speedway track later that year and at the time this photo was taken. There were very few photos taken at Greenford and this collection certainly brings the track to life. '
