This is Fazakerley South Junction. The girder bridge can be seen that takes the railway over Walton Hall Avenue. This bridge replaced a narrower bridge in 1930 - The girder bridge was skewed into position during a weekend, road widening being excavated out as well. I do not think that Network Rail could have achieved that time frame. The new bridge enabled the widening of the avenue so to accommodate express tram tracks to run along the centre of the widened road, thus forming a dual carriageway.( look up 'Disused Stations website re Fazakerley South Junction where you can find a photo of the widening activity..
