Queen’s Dock Pump house. The station contained a massive steam engine and boilers and a hydraulic accumulator. From this point high pressure water was supplied to cranes, capstans and a swing bridge in the vast dock site via many miles of pipes. After closure of dock the building was abandoned and became derelict before it was restored as a restaurant. It now houses the ‘Curry Karaoke Club’ – it’s all in the name! '
