St James Park home of Exeter City AFC. The 1932/33 season was for years their most successful until the club won the Fourth Division in 1989/90. In 1932/33 Exeter City were in the Third Division South and finished runners-up to Brentford but unfortunately only one team went up to the Second Division.
Note the grass cutter and the removal of the crossbar on the right hand goal which suggests the season has just ended as in those days the FA Cup Final played on or around the 5th May was the last game of the season. '
