Bratt Street. The spot marks an example of an early 19th century house, presumably one of the first to be built after inclosure of the heath in 1804. According to Greenslade (1976), Bratt St, Lombard St and New Street were laid out by 1816. There are other examples of early 19th buildings further down this street and round the corner in New Street. '
