I am not sure this is 1929. Comparing various OS maps, it is more like 1946 or so. The railway lines all round the black roofed building on the left. The white extension to the buildings on the canal front. And the gasometer to the left of the buildings near the right most chimney. None are shown on the OS map of 1926/29 And only appear together on the OS map of 1947/51 |
