This is Quartermile Lane leading off Ruckholt Road and shows the Eton Manor Playing Fields to the right with associated pavilion and groundsman's house. The highway marks the borough boundary between hackney (left) and Leyton, now Waltham Forest (right). Eton Manor Sports ground(Eastway) was bulldozed for the 2012 olympics,and sports fields, cricket pitch etc never replaced. '
