Victoria & Albert "Docks" trolleybus terminus. When a tram arrives at its destination the motorman simply walks through the car to the other end and departs. Trolleybuses however need to turn round. This is normally done by erecting a circle, or extending the route around side roads. Here at the Docks with a narrow road, the Victoria and Albert cut running alongside, and no side streets, this created a problem for the LPTB. The solution as seen here was to purchase land and build a deck out over the cut. Three routes terminated here, and of the four "Docks" termini was the busiest with more that 48 trolleybuses turning at peak times. '
