A sunny, Sunday morning in 1952. A group of typically cheerful East Enders are about to set of on a Beano to celebrate the coming marriage of one of their younger pub mates. The coach stands in Portia Road close to their local, 'The Rising Sun'. Most of the men would have served in WW1 or WW2. The irrepressible humour and genuine nature is there to see, and they were literally the last of their breed. '
