Imperial Wharf Station built here in 2009 as part of the reopening to full passenger services on the West London Line. Operated by London Overground the line is also used by through trains from the Brighton line to the Watford and the further north. The question is why did it take so long for projects like this and Thameslink to get put in place. From no traffic to often full trains in a very short time it just shows how important public transport projects are in keeping the city moving. '
