These terraced houses were built on the site of Ravenswood House, it covered a large area and had enclosed grounds & ornamental gardens. 1820 house belonged to Joseph Johnson who was arrested at Peterloo, he was an active radical of Politics. He was imprisoned for 1 yr in Lincoln Castle. '
