Location of the admin/accommodation buildings for the HAA Gun Battery at Waterloo (GDA Blackpool), designation number H1/-. The marker is positioned over what are probably two magazines. The position of the gun pits might be hinted at by the location of the tracable track that runs to the left of these sites up and through the later pattern of roads. Possibly two of the gun pits are visible as circles in the road markings. The darker rectangle to the top of the magazines might mark the remains of the control bunker. |
