Definitely the A6044 that runs from Hopwood, Heywood (bottom left) towards Middleton in Greater Manchester.

Thank you for all the help with this image, we'll update the catalogue and post the new record here in due course. 1926 is a bit early for Alan Cobham's National Aviation Day Display team, maybe someone can find evidence like a local newspaper report to work out who the dare-devils were?
