View looking north from above Morlais Castle Golf Club up the Taff Fechan valley towards Pontsticill Reservoir. On the right side of shot we see the two lines of the Brecon & Merthyr Railway converging towards their junction at Pontsticill Junction Station. In 1961 we caught the morning train from Merthyr station to Pontsticill Junction where we changed onto the Newport to Brecon service via Torpantau to Brecon. A magical day.
