 Not a pillbox, too small. I think this is where the gas/water/sewage pipe crossed from one side of the bridge to the other, not sure why it needs the concrete structures. This feature is still extant if you looks at google maps. |

| The Alexander Bridge which in those days was a double deck bridge. I carried rail track on the top & below was a roadway for vehicles. Since the 1940s it has only been used for road traffic & the rail track disconnected from using it. |
