Two cars of District Line Q stock in former short bay platform. This bay was not used for public service but for the movement and arrangement of stock in the adjoining former stabling roads. Very likely a legacy of steam locomotive days when services terminating at the station required a change of loco for the outward journey.

The old Ealing Broadway Great Western Railway station. Sharing similar 'in house' design features with other contemporaneous GWR station buildings such as Slough and Southall. This building was swept away and replaced by the current monstrosity in 1961.

This might well be the remains of a redundant railway water tower. The Metropolitan District Railway was steam powered until electrified in 1905. This structure is very possibly a water tower used to resupply the old steam locomotives. The structure appears still to exist

A building that was later sited here would itself have to be demolished and rebuilt after it was severely damaged as the result of an IRA bombing in 2001.

The Westminster Bank. This building served for a short while as the Town Hall until the council outgrew it and moved to larger premises in 1888.

The old Ealing Broadway station building of the Metropolitan District Railway. The District line maintained a separate station building to the adjacent Great Western mainline. In about 1961, the Underground lines started sharing the mainline facility. The Underground building still exists, but is now used solely as retail premises.
