 Minimax Fire extiguisher factory. The Art deco factory entrance can still be seen on the corner of Faggs Road and the Staines Road. It was moved from it's location halfway along the factory to it's present location, when the factory was demolished in the early 1980's. |

 The Playhouse Cinema. It opened in 1930, & closed in 1959. It was then a Bingo hall for many years, before becoming a furniture store. It was demolished in 1992/93, & was approximately where the Aldi store is now. |
