In the early 70's, this combined with Hilda Road school to create Eastlea Comprehensive.
For Eastlea, this was used as the technology block, with included maths, computing (A single room with two computers in the late 70's), art, metal work, woodwork, pottery and motor mechanics. |

Hilda Road School.
In the early 1970's, Hilda Road and Pretoria School combined to for Eastlea Comprehensive.
Hilda Road school was the main school with the language and science rooms within it.
c1977, Hilda road was demolished to allow the connection of the two schools with a large space between them having a new science block constructed on the space. |
