Cheltenham Grammar School. Built in the late C19th, it was demolished c1965 when the school moved to new premises at Hesters Way. It was replaced by an uncompromisingly brutal retail scheme which remains a jarring blot on Cheltenham's streetscape.

For many years this was Cheltenham's Police Headquarters. It was subsequently named John Dower House and was the headquarters of the Countryside Agency during the 1990's at least.
