This is the High Street branch line station from Denham towards the western edge of town,just before the bridges over the grand Union Canal and the River Colne. Originally it was planned to link the High Street Station with the station in Vine Street - but this never materialized. Closed to passenger traffic in 1939. |

The over bridge was built in anticipation of this taking place (it was removed in 1922). Some initial ground works were also undertaken on the line of the anticipated connection. |
