Corah's is at the back of the church, out of picture

The factory to the right would become Richard Roberts.

It would eventailly become Corah's in the 1960's but when this pic was taken it didn't belong to Corah's

The hosiery works (Corah's) employed 3000 people at its height with a further 7000 around the country. Nicholas Corah donated an organ to the City of Leicester which can be seen in De Montfort Hall, Leicester

Yes, i was one of the 3000! Think it was called N.Corah&SonsLtd and then renamed N.Corah(StMargaret) Ltd
