Used this station on day's out with family a fifteen minute walk from home to go to Kew Gardens or onto Richmond. On other day's out went to Hampstead & onto the heath. |

What looks like an LNWR "Oerlikon unit" in the shadows, on what was then the NLR/NWR electric service from Kew Bridge station, heading towards South Acton and beyond.
This service did not survive WW2. |

Note how both level crossings across Bollo Lane have a footbridge each, for pedestrians. They have long dissapeared. |

The District Railway's Ealing, Hounslow and South Harrow line was still a traditional Double Track line in those days, before the Piccadilly Line came this way. |
