This house was where the bailiff for Morden Hall lived. the address was 'Ravensbury Mills'. My grandmother was born here in 1893. Her father was bailiff from 1881 to 1916. The house was damaged in WW1 but not demolished until 1960's when subject to vandalism and encroachment from nearby council housing. |

Paper never produced at Ravensbury Mill. Started life as a snuff mill and spend most of the 1900's as a sports goods and wood factory for Whitley Products. Whitley's moved to Daventry in 1990's and site sold to developers. Mill House was demolished and rest of site turned into apartments. |
