7-17 Church Street Grade 2 listed - English Heritage Building ID: 113711 A range of Cl9 red brick almshouses. A plaque on the west end states that the almshouses were built about 1400 and rebuilt in 1869. The ends are gabled with barge boards carved with roses, horses heads and pelicans. The village bus stop is outside.

The Deanery CM7 5LH Grade 2 listed building - English Heritage Building ID: 113736 An early C17 timberframed and plastered building with an C18 plastered brick south east front. The centre of this front rises to a curvillinear gable bearing a coat of arms above a central oriel window. The interior has been reconstructed as flats in the C20.
