Prior to conversion of buildings in Park Place to "Ebenezer Hall", the local Christian Brethren Assembly met in the upper room of this building (1940s/1950s).

This area became a small wood. The "wee wood" to the children of the 1940s/1950s. We played every sort of game and build dens in it.

The road bridge curves over the branch line to Dumfries, an area now dominated by the A47.

Are some of these railway cottages, as there appears to be a footpath and gate affording access to the railway.

There seems to be a short length of narrow gauge railway (perhaps 3ft gauge) linking the milk dock to the creamery building. It might even be a plateway (road wheels running in a groove) as the trolleys are clearly not on the rails by the dairy building
