Not Holy Trinity but Saint John's, built 1896 but cant find when it was demolished, probably 1960s. Was the daughter church to Holy Trinity until it aquired its own parish. Great old picture of it here https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/443675000789174038/

This had been one of the entrances to the barracks, perhaps a former guardhouse. There was a railing in front which the children used to swing on, we called it "tumble your creams" (I believe "creams" is derived from a word in Gaelic.

Pottery Buildings. They were used by either the Sea Scouts or the Boys Brigade. The upper floor housed at one time a small factory making jigsaw puzzles.
