The Paddlesteamer is believed to be either the Queen of Kent or the Queen of Thanet, both scrapped in the very early 1950's. Most of the other PS visiting Southend Pier had single funnels. I can find any others in service in 1946 that had two tall ones like this. |

It is 'Queen Of Thanet' as 'Queen Of Kent' did not re-enter service until the following year. |
