In a sylvyan suburban setting the Peckham Rye tram terminus. The residents could get all the way to the victoria Embankment from here, the 56 looping round via Westminster Bridge and the 84 going the opposite way round from Blackfriars Bridge. Unfortunately under stage 5 of Operation Tramaway this method of getting about was no longer an option and after 6th October 1951 the trams being replaced by a number 184 diesel bus.
