you can just about see the gates which once adorned pony bank or officially mullett park , but i have always known it as pony bank it may relate to pit ponies as their was a mine on it in days gone by or it may just be because locals graze their horses on their or did which is more probable but less interesting , i prefer the the pit pony idea lol ....

what is this round feature i may being optimistic in thinking it could be a barrow or motte and bailey it maybe just a slag heap nicely rounded off but i live in hope

this shed is on the 1940 map but not on the 1920 map so it was built in between the to dates i would guess 1930s
