Just about here is the south portal of Stodhart Tunnel on the Peak Forest Tramway. Built in 1796, it's the second oldest rail tunnel in existence. This portal survives, but the northern half of the tunnel was destroyed by a road improvement scheme in 1949.

Chapel-en-le-Frith Central station, on the Manchester Central to Ambergate line. Closed 6th March 1967, now a builder's merchant.

Bogie hopper waggons enroute to ICI carrying limestone. I believe these waggons carried about 22 tons each and there are 16 of them here pulled by a 2-8-0 Class 8F.
