Horninglow Wharf (Trent & Mersey Canal). Almost invisible, but there was a warehouse which the canal passed underneath at the bridge. This was rather shamefully demolished in the 1960s when the bypass was built.

Horninglow Station (GNR). The wooden station building survived as a cafe until the 1990s. There was a slight rise in the road to cross the railway on the level.
