There appears that there was once a physical between Hammersmith Met station and Hammersmith (Grove Road) LSWR station. Still in situ here although the LSWR line had closed some 19 years previously. |

The old Hammersmith (Grove Road) railway station building on the LSWR loop connecting with the Metropolitan District Railway at Studland Road, Hammersmith and the West London Railway at Kensington. There appears to be a pedestrian walkway connecting it with Hammersmith (Metropolitan) station.
The line closed in 1916. The building was put to other uses before its demolition in the 1950s, at one time serving as a banana depot. |
