| This looks like the single car unit that operated the off-peak shuttle service between Stanmore and Wembley Park.
For some years after completion, the Stanmore branch served an area that was still largely undeveloped. With very light passenger loads, the Metropolitan Railway deemed that it did not warrant a full through passenger service throughout the day. |
