Yes, this is Eastbourne. The church is Christ Church, located at the junction of Hanover Road and "Seaside". |

This church in Eastbourne is Christ Church at the end of Halton Road; Royal Parade is in the foreground. The large building with the turret to the right of the church is the Kings Arms at the junction of Seaside and Leslie Street. The hotel on the corner of Royal Parade and Halton Road still has its turret but the observation platform is long gone. The twin turrets to the left of the church are above the former cinema (Eastern, New Eastern, Regal). |

This area is virtually unchanged today. Halton Road in the centre, with Christ Church just beyond its end. The curved structure bottom right is a tiny section of what 1s now the Redoubt military museum |
