Clarkes clothing Factory, very large four storey factory with it tall chimney loomed directly over saint, Helen's church churchyard. Over 1,400 people were employed in making breeches, waistcoats, overalls and other sturdy working clothing. The MG car company took over the building as a spare parts stores and club house until it burned down and the factory was Demolishedd to make way for a car park then houses.
