 Fort Perch Rock. Although dating from the 19thC the fort was re-equipped in both World Wars. The Defence of Britain Project records ' The two outer gun emplacements have covers (1947) : these housed the WW2 guns. The eastern emplacement is in good condition, but the western emplacement has suffered some deterioration.' Coast Artillery Battery, S0015091, e07195. |
