I believe this is Eastwick Park in Great Bookham. latterly it was a school called Southey Hall. It was demolished in about 1954. |

Thanks RichardW, You may be interested to know that the original Aerofilms Ltd Register says "Not sure East, still unknown" for this image; so we had next-to-no chance to find it. Thanks to your help we can update the catalogue. The revised record with correct location will appear here in due course. Yours, Katy Britain from Above Cataloguing Team Leader |

View is looking south towards Great Bookham. The road network appears to fit with Lower Road, Eastwick Road, Leatherhead Road and Dorking Road. The field boundaries also fit. We can almost see to the Poleden Lacey NT in the far distance. |

I have examined the photograph of Eastwick Park in Great Bookham supplied by RichardW and I can confirm that I can find nothing to suggest that this previously unlocated photograph is anywhere other than Eastwick Park in Great Bookham. I am not an architect but every feature is identical in each photograph. I understand that the house was demolished in the 1950's but it is possible that some of the walls surrounding the walled garden may have survived and may now be seen in Bing. Well done RichardW. |

Not so sure it is. Looking at the modern picture the Balustrading and window size looks different. Also the historical Photo does not seem to show the portico to the main entrance. |

This is Claremont House, Esher. It is now a school. http://www.claremont-school.co.uk/95/more-history |

Looks like a horticultural garden patch at Wisley Gardens (see sat image Google), but the house isn't it |

Somewhere between Weybridge and Leatherhead I would have thought because of image numbering/flight. |
