These properties were demolished at some stage between the time this photo was taken and the 1960s. By that time all that could be seen in the undergrowth was the base of the walls. Some of the bricks still remain - last seen during period 2005-2010 |

This is incorrect. It is thought that the use of big guns in Eastwell Park during WW2 weakened the structure. Either way water got into the chalk-filled walls and the weight of the roof resulted in a collapse during the 1950s |
