The Southern Region 1961-62 timetable shows a service from Wolverhampton to various towns on the Kent coast, including the note "Miniature Buffet Car and Through Carriages - Margate to Wolverhampton" with onwards connections to Birkenhead, possibly suggesting there was once a through service. So this could be a portion of a Kent coast to Birkenhead train, other portions coming form Ramsgate, Dover and even Hastings and Eastbourne. |

Is this "Margate Sands" or "Hall by the Sea" station? The former is shown as being west of Margate (West) and the latter east of the same on maps I have viewed. |
