Old engine shed on WW1 Midland Railway spur that serviced Hendon Aerodrome wartime production facilities and ran through to the Airco factory site on the Edgware Road at Colindale. Although abandoned shortly after the war, the route can still be seen above the old engine shed building.
The old engine shed still exists and is used for storage in Montrose Playing Fields. |
