Albert Rd. The photo from my website www.oldtyneside.co.uk is the shop you can zoom into on this aerial view. In those days it was run by Mr Amos a Butcher. It was on Albert Rd/Bedeburn Rd junction. Across the road on the corner of Humbert St was the Co-op store.

Humbert St which is just off Albert Rd. The shop you can see on the corner with Albert Rd was a Co-op shop. My photo was taken further down Humbert St & in the distance is the Congregational Church over the railway lines. Photo is from my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website.
