| East Southsea railway station, which was closed shortly prior to the outbreak of the Great War. The tracks themselves were lifted in the early 20s, but the terminus buildings survived up until the 1960s, I believe. |

Parkstone Ave is in the top left hand corner. Numbers 7,9,11,13 & 15 are built. So are numbers 54/56, 58/60 and 62/64. Numbers 66&68 are under construction (you can just make out the scaffolding although the picture is very grainy). The other houses on the corner nearest the old railway buildings are not yet started. Numbers 54&56 are no longer standing (newer style buildings now) so must have been bombed during second world war. |

The terminal building was housed behind a ford car showroom/dealership on the corner of granada road and waverley road. |
