This was the theatre/music hall/cinema and finally bingo hall. Variously called The Palace, The New Electric Palace, amongst other names, lastly The Empire before demolition c.2000.

This was St.Thomas the Apostle R.C.secondary modern school. I was there from Sept.1963 to July 1968. It has been demolished and replaced with office block.
