Worked at RAF Cardington for a number of years and 217 MU was charged with many a job for our on site museum and one was for the restoration of the R101s steering wheel as seen in the picture...that me in the middle... |

Of the four cars seen in this shot, the two below the haystacks are local: TM is a Luton registration. The other two - that on the left and the other, extreme right, have registrations EL [probably] and PR. These are both registered as Bournemouth vehicles. Is that significant? |
