There appears to be a narrow gauge line here between the Met Railway main line and the footpath just to the north of Croxley Hall Farm. I thought at first that it might be a fence, but on closer inspection it appears to be a NG track with quite unevenly spaced sleepers. I have little idea what its purpose might be unless they were connected with the activity at gravel workings that had quite recently opened just south of Croxley Hall Farm. |
