Many years ago i attended a slide show of Swansea, the person showing the slides said he had heard of a photo of Mumbles Methodist Church, before the land at Oystermouth was reclaimed, late 1890s,with a sailing ship that had been blown across the bay in a gale,with its prow against the front of the Church. I've looked for a long time for the photo, met by chance the Minister of the Church, who was also looking for said photo. We've come to the conclusion that the tale of the elusive photograph, is no more than an 'Urban Myth'. Unless anyone knows differently . . . . . !
